The Liposuction intervention steps
Two preoperative consultations with a plastic surgeon are necessary for this silhouette surgery.
Before and after photos of the liposuction will be taken.
A compression garment for the liposuction zone will be prescribed.
Stop any anticoagulant or anti-aggregating treatment 15 days before.
Stop the pill 1 month before the operation to reduce the risk of venous thrombosis
The type of anesthesia depends on the region to be treated and the amount to be aspirated under local anesthesia with sedation administered intravenously, or under general anesthesia.
The amount of fat removed will be adapted to the quality of the skin in order to obtain the best possible result.
The duration of the procedure can therefore vary from 20 minutes to 3 hours (on average 1 to 2 hours), depending on the areas and the amount of fat to be removed.
At the end of the operation, a panty or sheath-type compression garment will be put in place to limit edema and allow the skin to recover.
